Privacy Policy

Account information: your name, email address, and password when you create an account as a customer, business, or administrator.

Business information: business name, address, contact email and phone number, and a description of the business, provided when a business signs up.

Booking information: for guest bookings, we collect your name and email address to process the booking without requiring an account.

Payment information: payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles that in accordance with its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS standards.

Location information: business addresses are converted to map coordinates (geocoded) using the Google Maps Platform so customers can find nearby activities and sort listings by distance. If you allow your browser to share your location, we use it only to sort activities by distance to you — we don't store it.

We use your information to create and manage your account, process bookings and payments, send booking confirmations and cancellations by email, notify businesses when a customer books one of their classes, approve and manage business listings, and respond to support requests sent to info@classhub.ca.

We share information with third parties only as needed to run the service: Stripe (to process payments), the Google Maps Platform (to geocode business addresses and display maps), and our email provider (to send transactional emails). We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in (a login token) so you don't have to log in on every page. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

We keep your account and booking information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing info@classhub.ca. If you're a Canadian resident, this may include rights available to you under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

classhub is intended for use by parents, guardians, and adults booking activities on behalf of others. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
